Junior (2012):
Made 10 appearances out of the bullpen and started six games. Finished with a 1-4 record and a 7.12 ERA. Allowed two earned runs or less in 11 of 16 outings, including eight scoreless relief outings. Struck out a season-best four in 5.1 innings in a start against Sacramento State (Feb. 28), his first Division I victory. Also fanned four batters against Nevada, allowing one hit in two shutout innings on April 24. Tossed 2.1 shutout innings of relief against Santa Clara (May 15).

Prior To Pacific (Chandler Gilbert):
Played two seasons for coach Russ Luce at Chandler Gilbert Communicty College. Appeared in six games in 2011 with a 1-1 record. Struck out 17 batters in 20.1 innings pitched with a 5.31 earned run average. Did not pitch as a freshman.

Played club ball with the Hays Larks in 2009, pitching in 13 games while starting four. Struck out 26 batters in 26.1 innings pitched as opponents hit just .262 against him.

High School:
A 2008 graduate of Hamilton High School in Chandler, Arizona, Lumby was named First Team All-Region as a senior, helping Mike Woods’ Huskies win the 5A state championship. Lumby was named to the All Fiesta Region First Team as a senior.

Personal:
Travis Michael Lumby... Son of Mike and Debbie Lumby. Has older brother David and older sister Tracie. His father was a two-year letter winner in baseball at Phoenix Community College. Majoring in Communication.
