Tigers Tied for 16th After Day 2 of Amer Ari Invitational

WAIKOLOA, Hawaii – The Pacific men's golf team shot even par on Friday to remain at +17 (593) through the first two rounds of the Amer Ari Invitational, hosted at the Waikoloa Beach Golf Club Kings' Course.

Austin Fox led the Orange and Black on day two of the prestigious event, shooting a 4-under 68. Fox recorded an eagle on the 18th hole before recording three birdies on holes 2, 6 and 7. 

Also shooting under par was Beau Forest who finished the day at -1 (71). He also recorded three birdies on the day.  Jee Horsangchai matched his Thursday score of 75, while Casey Scott shaved six strokes off of his first round score of 80. Daniel Pena shot a 79 on the day.

As a team, the Tigers are tied for third in total number of Pars (114), while Fox leads the team individually with a +1 on Par 4's, -2 on Par 5's, and a total of 26 Pars.

Pacific will tee off for the final 18 holes on Saturday morning at 7:30 a.m. Fox will lead the group out of the gate, matching up with Hawai'i Hilo's Warren Miller, Hawaii's Justin Arcano and Southern California's Sam Kim for the final round.
