Pacific Men's Golf Finishes 9th at Sacramento State Invite

SACRAMENTO, Calif. – The Pacific men's golf team concluded play at the Sacramento State Invitational Tuesday afternoon.

Despite a strong start to the Sacramento State Invitational, the Tigers shot a +15, 303 in the final round to finish ninth overall with a 895. 

Austin Fox finished in a tie for 16th after recording a score of 220 (+4) over three 18-hole rounds. The Folsom product tied for 7th with 10 birdies, while also totaling 30 pars on the week.

Casey Scott shot a 76 Tuesday to finish at +10 (226). Rounding out the scoring for the Tigers were Jee Horsangchai (+11, 227) and Beau Forest (+17, 233).

Individually, Jesper Kasanen shot a three over-par in the final round to also finish with a 227. Kasanen ranked second in the field with 39 pars. Anthony Madrid finished with a +13, 229.

Next up for Pacific is a trip to Arizona for the Grand Canyon Invitational. The Antelopes will be hosting its event at the GCU Golf Course on Friday, Mar. 16 and Saturday, Mar. 17.
