Pacific heading to Northridge Fall Invitational

Pacific women's tennis hits the road again this weekend as it heads to Northridge, California for the Northridge Fall Invitational.

The tournament, which is hosted by Cal State Northridge, will bring in players from Grand Canyon, Youngstown State, Long Beach State, Sacramento State, UC Riverside, UC Santa Barbara, San Jose State and BYU as well as several other universities.

Head coach Mike Erwin will take virtually take his entire roster with him to the tournament except for junior Jessica Kaye.

Last time out:

The Tigers last competition came two weeks ago at the Warrior Invitational in Turlock, California, where Sabrina Rodriguez reached the A draw semifinals before falling 6-1, 4-6, 1-0 (8). In the B singles consolation bracket, freshman Hannah Ketcherside, who lost in the opening match of the B draw, ran through the consolation bracket to win in the finals in a 7-6 (3), 6-1 match.

A week before the Warrior Invitational, the Tigers competed at the ITA Regionals in Palo Alto, California where Dohee Lee and Anneroos Nederstigt both reached the round of 32 in doubles play before falling to Niluka Madurawe and Kimberly Yee from host school Stanford.

In singles, Lee also reached the round of 32 but fell to California's Olivia Huager 6-0, 6-3.

The Northridge Fall Invitational takes place on Friday, Saturday and Sunday of this week in Northridge. All three days feature full days of action.
