Another Day, Another Program Record For Track & Field

SAN FRANCISCO, Calif. - The Tiger Track & Field team capped off day two of the SFSU Distance Carnival with another program record. Naomi Nunis also in the 200m where she posted a program-best 27.10.

Nunis also posted a 12.94 in the 100m dash, a hair off the program record, while Lena Perry ran a 13.72 and Samia Adam a 14.80. Haley Silva finished the mile run in 6:11.78. Emily Wylie breezed through the 800m in 2:22.07. In the two mile, freshman Emma Winkler ran a 11:54.78. 

In the distance medley relay, the squad of Madison Cote, Sandra Padilla, Emily Wylie and Jasmine Gonzales ran a 12:55.80. 

In shot put, Jasmine Jenkins continued her strong season with a distance of 10.68m. 

Next stop for the Tigers is the Bryan Clay Invitational in Azusa, Calif., which takes place on April 13th.
