Records Fall At Bryan Clay

AZUSA, Calif. - The Tiger track & field team broke more records this week at the Bryan Clay Invitational as new bests were set in the 100m, 200m and 800m. 

On Thursday a pair of Tigers competed in the 5000m as Jasmine Gonzales posted a 18:17.41 and Emma Winkler ran a 19:37.53, which is a personal best. 

In the 100m dash Naomi Nunis posted a 12.78 and in the 200m she ran a 26.36 which are both new program records for Pacific. Emily Wylie sped through the 800m in 2:19.47, another program best time, and ran a 4:53.27 in the 1500m. Winkler also ran the 1500m and finished with a time of 5:11.66.

Jasmine Jenkins threw a 10.14m in shot put while Alexia Amo notched a 9.75m, setting a new personal best for the freshman. In discus Jenkins logged a distance of 27.98m and Amo threw a 25.39m. 

Next up for the Tigers is the Bulldog Open in Clovis, Calif. which takes place April 22nd.
